About Me
My name is Grace Sapp. I was born in March, 1987 in the state of Georgia. (A good ol' American girl and very proud of it if I do say so myself. ;) ) I've never had any sort of formal art training. - Everything I've learned has come from years of nothing more than this: Drawing, painting, practice. And honestly, that's the very best advice I can give for any aspiring artist. ;)
I started digital art when I was around 13. My daddy asked if I'd like an art program for my computer so that I could maybe help him out with some art for his website. - I've always been known as the artist of the family and seeing as I'm a hopeless computer geek it seemed fitting that art + computer might be a good idea. ;) For years, while I had Adobe Photoshop I used Illustrator mostly. I'm not exactly sure why, except for the vector, cartoony feel of the program appealed more to my young teenage mind. At about 16 I finally started dabbling in Photoshop and I've never looked back. I got a Wacom tablet when I was probably around 16 as well, and since then I've been painting exclusively with digital mediums.
Otherwise, in my free time I spend time with my boyfriend and family. :) I love reading and fairytales, fantasy and true crime shows. I have a golden retriever named Spiffy who
I like to refer to as "my son". ;) Other than that there's really not much to me, but if you have any questions, please email me and feel free to ask.
